Chicks With Sticks


The new women's only class "Chicks with Sticks" has been a really hot addition to the roster @ Heavens Fitness. The blend of Martial Arts and functional fitness exercises has won over those in attendance. The ladies love the blend of Muay Thai and Boxing drills combined with the co-ordination double stick drills from Modern Arnis!

PHASE 2: Self-Defence/Practical Personal Protection
with Stephen Tripney

This program is designed to build both awareness and physical skills that will assist you in disolving a potential threat. The curriculum utilizes simple, direct and effective motions that can be learned quickly and are easy to apply in a variety of situations. Topics covered will include: Striking, joint locks, escapes, defensive strategies and improvised weapons as well as a developing an understanding of the psychology of self defence.
Your first line of defence is awareness, the best thing you can do is be informed!
